Very sad to hear of his passing. Kevin was a great mentor and friend, and I have many great memories of working with him and spending time away from work. I remember the first time I met him in Hoboken; he was holding "court" after work, and he seemed larger than life, even though I was taller than he was. My deepest sympathies and condolences to Cindy, Brett, Sean, and their families.

Since becoming aware of Kevin's passing my last few days have been filled with memories of playing basketball with him as a child / teen. Our summer days were filled with playing 'ball' at the Sixth Street and Mechanicsville courts. We had a decent walk home together ,as he lived merely three doors up from us, and shared all of the thoughts and conversations that pre-teens and teens had back in the 60's. I also went to St Joe's a year behind Kevin and came to comprehend his passion for knowledge, problem solving and budding leadership abilities. A true friend he was like another brother in addition to the four I had at the time and my family's thought and prayers are with his family.
