I am so sorry for your loss. I've known your family from our days back at BAA. It was great to see Kevin again last year, as he was in charge of the plumbing work on the Local #1 renovation. It was great to catch up with him. I was so saddened to hear about the loss of a truly nice guy.

I only knew Kevin for about a year. He was always happy and very easy going. His presence made coming to work fun. He had a great sense of humor and was very kind hearted. I will always remember his big smile and giving heart. He was always there to help me as I began to learn more and more about plumbing! I especially appreciated his awesome handwriting (since I was the one writing proposals for him, lol). Although he is not physically with us, his presence and legacy and the lives that he has touched will carry on forever! May Gods peace and strength be with his family during this difficult time!

Dear The Kersten Family,
I am honestly at a loss for words. Kevin was a very special person to me. I was lucky enough to have worked with him for the last 14 years. What a wonderful man. He was the kindest, funniest and most understanding person. I do not think I have ever seen him mad in all these years. He was always full of life and always had jokes to tell. There is definitely an empty spot here at work now and in my heart. I miss him dearly. That smile in the picture of him is the best smile ever and how I love to remember him by. May he rest in peace and may you all find peace.

Kevin lived a life of service to others. His work with the Ballwin Men’s Golf Association was incredible. From arriving before 5 AM, setting up scorecards, pairing teams, cooking brats, and cleaning up after our lunch, he simply did it all. I will miss his contagious laugh, his kindness, and perspective. A wonderful husband, dad, grandpa, and friend. Thank you Kelley for sharing him with us!

It has been my good fortune to spend some time getting to know Kevin over the past few years through the plumbing industry. I wanted to express my deepest condolences to your entire family, both immediate and extended. I know Kevin is loved and will be missed by all, and I wanted you all to know that he has made such a positive impression on so many more people than you may ever realize. He always shared a kindness and professionalism that is not as common in this world as it should be, and I am thankful for the time he shared with me.
God bless you in your time of grief!

Kevin made a huge and lasting impact on my life. Always there for a young boy trying to find his way in life. Quick to help me with a school project or play any sport we wanted to play or take us fishing. Always had a smile on his face and a laugh that was infectious. I will forever be grateful that he took the time to be in my life. Prayers to the Family in this most difficult time.
