I send you my heartfelt condolences on the passing of your husband. I did not know your husband personally but i knew of him and how he treated my Dad and his wife Edna for many years. I always meant to sit down and write him a note to thank him from the bottom of my heart for all of the wonderful care he gave to Dad and Edna. He has been our family physician since taking over the practise from Dr.Shore. Kevin was there to walk us through the grief and loss of our child more than 22 years ago, and has been there so many times since - not only as our doctor, but someone we could count on.

I doubt I need to say this, but he was very proud of Kiyoshi and often spoke of his accomplishments in both school and hockey. As you know, he was an advid reader and supporter of the Guelph Public Library and Bookmobile. I will miss our chats of the latest good reads and what's coming up.

Lori and Kiyoshi, we didn't know you and yet we were given the opportunity to find out a lot about Kiyoshi and his sports enthusiasm through Kevin. We would share parent sports stories at our kids' appointments. It was very easy to see how proud Kevin was of his son!

One special memory was when Kevin, unexpectedly, arrived at our house to check in on our daughter Kristen when she was recovering from pneumonia. In this day and age that was incredible!!!! Like so many others I can't fnd the words to tell you how sorry I was to hear about Kevin. I am still in shock from the news, Since 1990 Kevin has been a friend & a Doctor to all of us. How many Christmass did we come up from Ohio & had a sick child & all I needed to do was phone Kevin & he was there for us.
You were both there for all of us when dad was sick & at the end of his life.

It was very sad to learn of Kevin's death tonight. Just last week my wife Kim was in to see Dr. Morishita and he was very excited and happy to see her acting in a TV commercial that ironically for Heart and Stroke.
