Kevin Paul Quinn, 61, passed away on February 25, 2025, in Ventura, California.

Born on February 6, 1964, in Los Angeles, California, Kevin pursued his education with a passion for business and travel. He earned an associate degree in business accounting with an emphasis on travel and hospitality from Cal State Northridge and later obtained a bachelor's degree in business from Concord University in West Virginia. Over the course of his career, he also achieved numerous travel certifications, reflecting his deep commitment to the industry he loved.

Kevin's professional journey began at Princess Cruises, where he quickly realized that while he enjoyed working onboard, he much preferred being a passenger. His love for travel led him to Pleasant Hawaiian Holidays (PHH), where he thrived for several years and became one of the company's trainers. Seeking to work closer to home in Ventura, Kevin transitioned to Paychex, where he served as both a supervisor and trainer. Though he built many lifelong friendships there, his heart always remained in the travel industry. Eventually, he returned to PHH as a trainer and continued working there until illness prevented him from doing so.

Travel was not just Kevin's career-it was his passion. He explored the world with enthusiasm and had a particular fondness for the Caribbean, especially Charlotte Amalie in Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Megan's Bay held a special place in his heart, as it was the site of many cherished vacations with his husband, Scott. Amsterdam also captivated him, and he embraced all that the Netherlands had to offer. While Paris was another favorite destination, his typically reserved nature would transform to match the energy of the Parisians around him.

Kevin's adventures were often shaped by Scott's daring spirit. Whether visiting Amsterdam's coffee shops, celebrating Bastille Day in the streets of Paris, or braving a tropical storm aboard a catamaran near Isla Mujeres, Kevin embraced each experience-even when it pushed him beyond his comfort zone. Perhaps one of his most thrilling adventures was flying along the Napali Coast in a doorless Hawaiian Search and Rescue helicopter-an experience both exhilarating and unforgettable.

A lover of Irish and English pubs both in the U.S. and abroad, Kevin never passed up an opportunity to enjoy a pint or two while joining in on the merriment and song. His social nature made him a beloved presence wherever he went; he was known for his generosity, compassion, strong convictions, and unwavering dependability.

Kevin is survived by his husband, J. Scott White; his brother Chris Quinn; his sisters Marti Quinn and Stephanie Harvey (Damon); his devoted caregiver and friend Johnny; fifteen nieces and nephews; and eight great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Elaine Quinn.

A memorial service will be held on March 15, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Conejo Mountain Funeral Home, Memorial Park & Crematory, located at 2052 Howard Road in Camarillo, California. In keeping with Kevin's wishes, the service will be informal so that all who attend can feel comfortable being themselves.

Kevin's warmth and adventurous spirit touched many lives. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
