Can't believe it's been a year! As we all age it's been good to remember we never know the day nor the hour our life on earth will end - so let's all live each day walking in the will of God our Father and being a light in this world.

I knew Kevin a very long time ago when I lived in Florida. He was a very special person with the best heart! I never have forgotten him, and I never will. All of you have my very deepest sympathies, I will remember you in my prayers.

Met Kevin at a ROM (Recreation Outreach Ministry) evaluation for Flag Football at IRCS. We teamed up to coach our sons, Noah and Noah. Little did I know at the time that we would coach for the next 9 sports seasons. And as he may subtly let you know, there were a few undefeated and a handful of championship seasons (to include a 3-peat). We may have been in the middle of coaching football, soccer or basketball but most of the conversations were about the kids. There was not a practice nor a game that he did not talk about Michelle, Tyler, and Noah. It was an honor to Coach with Kevin, Tyler, Andrew and our player-coach Noah R. Those memories will last on forever and we were all blessed to have the opportunity to spend time with a great man.

I met Kevin when I was super young in Cherokee Cove Tennessee. He was always such a guiding light in my life and was always positive and never ceased to amaze me. He was always like a second father figure to me.

My first memory of Kevin was when I walked in to Saturday night Bible study in 1993 alongside my then boyfriend Bill (now husband of 28 years). Many of these friends were there (see photos). I was super shy and all of these friends at the Bible study, including Kevin, made me feel welcomed. Thank you Kevin for all the laughs! We will see you again soon someday.

My favorite memory of Kevin is his big big heart as a coach and his favorite coach with my Lex . She loved him and he loved her. He coached her with basketball when she was only five years old and he told her Lex this is her ball just remember this is our ball we keep our ball :-) and she loved it because that´s what she did. She loved Coach Kevin he was a one of a kind.!

Coach Kev, I'll always remember the fun times we had on and off the softball field - from those intense game moments where you'd throw your hat down in anger when we messed up, which somehow always made things feel a little lighter. You had such a way of making the tough moments feel like lessons, and the good moments feel like victories. I'll never forget the encouragement, the laughs, and the guidance you gave me and so many others.
My thoughts are with you all during this incredibly tough time. He left footprints in my life, watching us create memories i will never forget. Soccer, softball, late night sleep overs at your house. Some of my best memories came from softball, and these are stories i get to share with my kids.
I´m grateful for every moment I had with him, and I´ll carry those memories with me always.
Rest in peace, Coach. You will be missed.
