Kevin Riggs Obituary
A graveside service will follow on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 at Hamilton Beeman Cemetery in Corsicana under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.
Mr. Riggs passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017, in Flint.
He was born October 2, 1963, in Corsicana to Mr. and Mrs. Hollis Riggs.
Kevin was a member of Flint Baptist Church. He graduated from Corsicana High School. Mr. Riggs held the position of maintenance technician with Brookshire Grocery Company.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and great-grandparents.
He is survived by his loving family including his wife, Vicki; mother and stepfather, Dale and David Frederick; father and stepmother, Hollis and Debbie Riggs; sister, Cindy McCarter; half sister, Melissa Riggs; stepbrother, Adam Hill; stepsister, Alyssa Hill; son, Bryce; daughter, Erica; stepdaughter, Jessica Shepherd; grandsons, Koehler, Christopher, Easton; and niece, Caitlin McCarter.
Pallbearers will be Steve McCall, Jimmy Eppler, Kenny Kennemore, Michael McCarter, Kyle Hand and Joel Tyner.
Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Watson, Alton McClintock, Jackie Melton, Billy Shuttlesworth, Dee Merritt, TJ Fowler and Paul Krugler.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway in Tyler.
If desired, memorials may be made to Flint Baptist Church Building Fund, 11131 FM 2868, Flint, 75762 or www.flintbc.net.
