Kevin was probably the most influential leader and mentor in our careers. He supported us and directed us through good times and during some competitive market-related challenges, while keeping his great sense of humor and being extremely generous to all his employees. Well always remember and appreciate our time with him at Barnes-Hind Hydrocurve and subsequently Pilkington Vision Care.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Nancy and family.

Such a good man along with his family. Very good friend to my dad and he always gave us opportunities to have fun and new experiences. Wishing the Ryan family many blessings, prayers, and happiness. God bless you all.

Dear Mrs. Ryan and Family,

Our sympathies go out to you and the family on the passing of Kevin. The Elliott/Fritch family has been honored to have known the Ryans. Kevin was a kind, generous, and loving man. Always engaged in a good conversation to see what's going on in your life and a good joke. I will miss him calling me Peg Margaret. We will always think fondly of Kevin and our Dad's friendship. The countless times Mrs. Ryan would wonder why Kevin wasn't back from his errands, only to find out that he hadn't left, he was talking to my dad at the end of our driveway. I'm sure cars and their kids were a part of the topic of conversations. I will forever be grateful to him for his generous friendship and support of my mom after my dad passed away. He will truly be missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Nancy and Family,

Our deepest sympathies to you on the passing of Kevin. The The Elliott and Goldfisher families been privileged to have known the Ryans as wonderful family friends for almost 40 years. The love, strength and character of Kevin was a key foundation to the life giving relationships and friendships we have shared. Nancy and Kevin's love story was an inspiration to us all as we come to know you throughout our adult year.

We will always treasure the memories of Kevin and our Dad enjoying a fabulous friendship for many years and are indebted to Kevin for his deep and generous support to Marie after our dad's passing 11 years ago.

Kevin always joked that we named our firstborn son, Ryan, after your family and we always agreed. Ryan will carry that on as a legacy of his namesake always.

Much love to you all during this time of loss.

I first met Kevin in the Barnes Hind Hydrocurve days and was with him through several evolutions of companies; the last one being Wesley Jessen. He was a wonderful leader that was beloved and respected by the employees at every level. Kevin was very personable, and a tremendous motivator that connected well with anyone that he met. I always appreciated his work ethic and his concern for the people that worked for him and his desire for the company's success. He loved sports and he could tell a story like no one I have ever known; Kevin could be very entertaining. I was sorry to receive the news of his passing. I send my sincere condolences, will keep Kevin and his family in my prayers.

Worked with Kevin for a very long time. Through; Barnes-Hind, Hydrocurve, Revlon, Wesley Jessen, and Ciba/Novartis. My wife is Irish and has Ryan's and Jesuits in her family tree. I always had fun kidding kevin that we were related and actually brothers. Kevin's high moral standards and his support of people that he knew and loved, this includes employees, was one of his finest traits. Difficult guy to replace both as an employer and a friend. God bless him always.
