Kevin Strom Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 23, 2010.
Kevin Grant Strom, beloved son, brother and friend, passed into glory on March 23, 2010. Kevin was born in Watertown, South Dakota on December 18, 1960 and growing up lived in a variety of locations including Colorado, Germany, Texas and Ohio. Kevin graduated from Fairborn Baker High School, Ohio, in 1978 where he excelled academically and in Thespians. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree, Magna Cum Laude, in 1983 from Wright State University in Fairborn, Ohio. After brief stays in Columbus, Ohio and New York City, Kevin followed his passion to live by the beach and moved to San Diego, California where he held a variety of positions and obtained recognition as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management. He is survived by his parents, Oren and Natalie Strom of Centennial, Colorado; his brothers Brian Strom of Centennial, Colorado and Randie Strom of Schertz, Texas; and his sister Celia Eastman of Caldwell, Idaho. His family and many close friends will greatly miss Kevin, but are comforted in the knowledge that he may now rest from his many struggles in the loving arms of his Savior, and that they will be reunited in eternity.

I found out a couple of years ago about Kevin's death but I didn't see this page until now. I think of him often. He and I were very close friends at Wright State but lost touch as time went on. The last time I heard from him was in the late 90's when I made a pottery vase for him and Carl. So sad to hear of his passing. My sympathies to all his loved ones.
