Got to work with Kevin in the ring in the local wrestling circuit. And he taught me lots of things in the business in the ring and behind the scenes. He was going to introduce me to Ric Flair to tell my story about how wrestling came full circle. But that never happened. I got to have a match against him and it was a great experience. I love and Miss you uncle Kevin. You were truly one of a kind

Went to the rivercitywrestling convention in Jacksonville last year with the sole purpose of meeting Sully, not only did I meet Kevin but I had the privilege of hanging out with him and Andy Anderson later that evening at the hotel restaurant/bar. I couldn´t have written a better script for the day! I was truly blessed with the circumstances of the day . Personally I took his passing pretty hard ....i will forever be thankful to Sully and Andy for making our our time together something I will never forget. You´ll forever be in my prayers . I´ll see you on the other side brother.

In the early 70s, Kevin had just come to Atlanta where I was a teenage photographer for Georgia Championship Wrestling. We became friends and he spent time with me, trying to "fatten" me up to become a wrestler, my lifelong dream. He showed me holds and moves but I couldn´t gain the weight.
I went to Tampa to shoot a story of him and Mike Graham deep sea fishing. I spent a few nights on his couch under his Janis Joplin poster, there in Tampa and also in Nashville. Kevin was a great friend. I pray his family receives comfort in the days ahead.
