Kevin Erin Woolcock

Kevin Erin Woolcock passed away on June 21, 2024. Born on February 7, 1981, Kevin was a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend to many. He was 43 years old.

Kevin grew up in Southampton, NJ. As a child, he discovered a talent in the arts as he was introduced to band in middle school with playing the trumpet. This would carry on through his high school career and led to his participation in marching band where he continued to grow musically. He graduated from Lenape High School in 1999. He then attended the Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape Community College. He would spend his career creating delicious dishes for the various places where he worked. He found joy in working in nursing homes later in his career. Kevin was able to bring a sense of home and comfort for residents through his cooking.

Kevin met his wife, Kim, in 2011. Kevin found his soulmate and knew immediately that she was the one for him. Kevin and Kim would be married on their two-year anniversary in 2013. The two would find joy in being together no matter what they did. They enjoyed going into Philadelphia to visit the art museum, driving down to the Cape May Zoo, going to movies, or spending the day fishing. Kim would patiently sit and read while Kevin spent the day fishing which gave both time together to do something they loved. Kim was Kevin's #1 priority in his life. No matter what they did together or where they went, Kevin always made sure that Kim was happy. Together, Kevin & Kim built a life and a home in Browns Mills, NJ, where they continued to create many memories. They made each other better people, and everyone could see how in love they were with one another.

Kevin was a man of diverse passions and talents. From a young age, he found solace and joy in the serene art of fishing. Whether casting a line into a quiet lake or braving the ocean waves with his dad, he was always happiest with a fishing rod in hand. This love for the outdoors was only matched by his enthusiasm for the virtual worlds of video games, where he spent countless hours embarking on adventures and conquering challenges. Kevin was an avid gamer which he enjoyed on his days off from work as adult. He rediscovered his love of the arts more recently with painting and created beautiful, unique pieces for himself and his family.

Kevin was known for his quiet and friendly demeanor, always showing care for others. He recently spent his professional career enriching the lives of residents at Brookdale Senior Living, where his culinary skills brought joy and comfort to the residents. His creativity in the kitchen was unmatched, as he seamlessly blended flavors and techniques, always striving to create dishes that left lasting impressions. His colleagues and residents admired his dedication and passion for the culinary arts.

Kevin's kind heart and generous spirit were felt by all who knew him. He had an innate ability to make everyone feel welcome and valued, and his laughter was contagious. His legacy of kindness, creativity, and passion will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Woolcock; his sister, Lindsay; his mother, Linda; his nieces and nephews; and his aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Ken Woolcock.

Private services will be held by the family to celebrate Kevin's life at a later time.
