Khiya Marie Braswell

Khiya Marie Braswell, age 20 transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.

Khiya Marie Braswell was born on March 28, 2003 in Toledo, Ohio to Staci Hunt and LaKeith Braswell. 

Khiya was educated in the Metro Nashville Public School System and was a proud graduate of Cane Ridge High School class of 2021.

Khiya was affectionately known as “Bounch”, “BE-NI-CHE”, Poot Butt, Beenchie, Kia, and Annie.

Khiya enjoyed dancing, taking pictures, pranking her siblings and eating seafood.

Khiya was a sweet and affectionate soul, always giving out kisses and hugs. Khiya loved to spend time with her family, especially her siblings. Khiya’s siblings could always count on her to make them smile with her silly ways. Khiya was a girl’s girl, loving her lashes and lip gloss. Even as a small child you could find Khiya with her plastic heels and a purse full of makeup. As she often demonstrated her “Model” walk.

As Khiya matriculated, she took an interest in Communications and expressed dreams of being a News Reporter, and Author.

Khiya will be missed immensely and leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Staci Hunt (Jisaidie), father, LaKeith Braswell (Takeisha), siblings, Chanel, Deja, Jaylen, Kayla and KJ; sister cousin, Montana; grandparents, Stephanie and Randy Hendricks; aunts, Aeryk White (Mark), Charesena Saunders, Zyra Saunders and a host of other beloved aunts and cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Brenda Braswell and aunt, Veronica Saunders.
