To the family of Kim, I only knew her for a short while but she was the most beautiful person inside and out and she will be missed dearly.

Kim and I were best of friends for many years and we shared many good times as well as the bad times together. Life always seemed a bit brighter having Kim to confide in and turn to for advice or just a good laugh. Although, our lives took different paths and somehow we slowly slipped away from each other, I have always held Kim in my heart and in my prayers and will continue to do so. She was my dear friend and I miss her. I know she is at peace and she can now finally feel all the love and joy around her. My deepest sympathy to all of you. I pray God's love will comfort you and help you through this very difficult time. God Bless.

Kathy, Bill, Wendy and Candace:

My heart is full. But what wonderful and memorable memories I shall always have of your sister. I actually talked with her a few years ago. We talked of Stone Harbor and the rowdy times we had. She brought up the night that she and my sister came in from a late night of partying and they found us upstairs, sicker then a dog (s). A little too much rum and coke!
My memory is full. My thoughts and paryers are with you all.

Lovingly

Mary

Kim worked for my Dad and was friends with Darlene. Although I haven't seen Kim for about 20 years, I remember her and Don very well. They came to our house for parties and events and went to the beach with us. I will always remember Kim for her upbeat attitude as well as outgoing and happy personality. I remember her being the life of the party! My sincere condolences to Kim's family and friends.

Kim~
You were walking wounded, in great dispair,
A sister in faith, with a smile always there.
Misunderstood, but still loved by so many;
You'll stay bright in my heart, like a shiny new penny!

Wish we'd had time to talk and declare
Love for our Creator; to keep hope in the air.
You've left us too soon;
We're shocked by your choice.
But, to our Lord I lift up my voice:

"Thank you for Kim, Lord. She was my friend.
Now with you in Heaven, grant her peace without end."

Kim was in our wedding in 1964 and she has kept in contact with me over the years. I remember all of you when we did the monthy "billing" when I worked for your dad and even when I went with all of you to see the Beetles when they came to Pittsburgh. We are very sorry for your loss and will keep all of you in our prayers.

Kim was one of my sister's (Jill Newman)best friends at Winchester. I will never forget the spring break vacation we all took to Ft. Lauderdale. Kim got a horrible sunburn but still managed to make us laugh eventhough she was wrapped in beach towels most of the time while sitting on the beach. I always enjoyed hearing about Kim through the years and just want to let your family know that our family is thinking about you all during this difficult time.

I can hear Kim's voice clearly as I answered the phone to hear her greet me with, "butthead!" instead of hello. I am praying she has found peace. I am in disbelief --my heart aches. My deepest sympathy to Bill and the family.

To the Zillwegers,
I remember many, many years ago visiting your home frequently, and as Kim was the closest to my age, sharing all of my childhood secrets with her. It's been over 45 years since our paths have crossed, but when I heard of her passing, all those fond memories surfaced. I remember when we, as children giggled in the kitchen, while the adults sat and socialized .. I remember the countless sleep-overs .. and I remember Scampy (the chihuahua) who always kept me at bay! I would like to extend the sympathies of my family (Joan Gahagan, Connie Gahagan Stefaniak and her son Garrett, and me, Elaine Gahagan and my daughter, Missy Hovanec). I'm sure your mom and dad, and my dad (Ed Gahagan) will be at the gates of Heaven greeting her with open arms. Heaven, as we know it, just got a little bit nicer.

Kim was a great client and a wonderful friend. I looked forward to visiting with her once a month as I did her hair. I will miss our talks and the great jokes she told. My thoughts and prayers are with your family as you cope with her loss. I will miss her greatly!

Dr. Z,
Your sister was such an important part of my life; of my family's life. I first met Kim when I was 8 or 9 at my dentist’s office (she was my hygienist). She and my mother first became friends around that time. That was over 2 decades ago.

What I will remember most about Kim was that big, bright smile, her stunning blue eyes, that amazing sense of humor, her huge heart and how she would never hesitate to drop everything to lend a hand if we needed her. Whenever she stopped by to visit my mom, Kim and I would have heart-to-heart talks about whatever ridiculous “boy trouble” I was going through at the time. I honestly don’t know how, but she always managed to say the most perfect thing(s) to cheer me up and make me chuckle. I don’t think Kim realized how wise she was and how much I truly appreciated all her kind words.

My heart is breaking for you and your family. We loved Kim dearly and will all miss her very, very much.

See you Saturday.

Love, Laura Fitzgerald (Laraine Davis's Daughter)

I am Courtney Zillweger Stein's mother-in-law. I only saw Kim at maybe seven or eight family functions, but remember Kim as very kind and friendly and always had a hug for me. I am deeply saddened for your loss and pray God blessings and strength for you all at the difficult time.
