Dear Lynda & Billy Ray,
Kimberly was such a special person. It never mattered to her that I was disabled. She never treated me different. She was just my friend. I'll never forget when Ms. Crowe lived next door to us, and Kimberly & I played together all the time. She was an angel then, and she's an angel forevermore. She will truly be missed.

Kimberly, You will always be my best friend. I love you and I already miss you so much. I will always remember all the wonderful times we had together. I am so blessed that I had you in my life. As you were an angel here, I now have one more angel in heaven to look after me. I want to thank you for all the great memories you have given me. Thank you for all of our talks and the things you and I shared both earlier in life (we were inseperable) and as we got older. We could always count on each other. Love your best friend, Dawn
Lynda and Billy Ray, I love you both and I am thinking of you at this time. Your daughter was a precious angel to me and ray of light to so many. May God comfort you at this time, and I hope it helps to know that I am here for you anytime no matter what you may need, just as my mother and daddy are there for Kimberly.
Love always

Kimmie, I have known you since we were 4 & 5. We have had some really really good times. You were one of those friends that no matter how long we went without talking I could always call you or walk next door & we could pick up right where we left off. You were always such a breath of fresh air for me. You never failed to make me laugh when I needed it most. Now there are so many things I wish I had said to you. It seems we get so wrapped up in this crazy world we forget to slow down for just a minute, take a deep breathe & admire all the beautiful people & things God has put into our life. It took you leaving to get me to slow down & realize that you were one of those special, beautiful people that he put into mine. I never took the time to say "Thank You" for all the fun, happy, crazy, unforgettable times we shared. Without you I would not have the wonderful husband & family I have today. You changed my life forever! Not only did you introduce me to Jeff but you were there the day we married. That is one of those special times we shared & I never told you how grateful I was for being able to share that moment with you or how much I loved you being with me & being a part of it. I am going to miss you so much!!! You were a very special person who touched so many lives in such a good positive way. Life is not going to be the same without you in it. I'm just so sorry it took this for me to know & understand just how very important you were in my life. I LOVE YOU GIRL!!!

As I type this, my heart is broken. Kimberly had always been a dear friend of mine, no matter how long it had been since we talked, spent time together, and caught up with each other. From the time we were fresh out of high school, and started keeping the roads hot in Hueytown, we were always together. She was there for me when my daughter was born, and she was always a constant light in my life. Her gorgeous smile could literally light up any room she walked into. Her laugh was so contagious, no matter how bad your mood was. I always felt so important in her presence, and it was such an honor to have been a part of her life, and especially to have been her friend. I have some of the best memories of us together, and I will forever cherish them. Billy and Lynda, I love you both dearly, and I will continue to keep you in my prayers, and in my heart.

I remember Lynda from the days when she worked with my Aunt Carol Rogers at the beauty salon in Bessemer. I have seen Kim only a few times over the years but please accept my most sincere sympathy and prayers during this time. My mother was Billie Ruth Rogers and was always so fond of Lynda.
