On January 25, 2025, in the early morning hours, my wife and best friend drew her last breath.

Since 2011, Kim battled illness after illness. It is impossible to summarize everything she endured. Even so, every day she would wake up, smile, and show the world what a wonderful, caring, and loving person she was. Anyone who knew her knows that she would move mountains for those she loved. The years we shared together were the happiest years of our lives.

Her love was deep, and she would share it far and wide. No matter where she went everyone knew and loved her. Whether it be down the street or in the parking lot of a store, someone would see Kim and stop to say hello. She loved her family and when they visited, she would put smiles on everyone's faces. From the kids to the adults, we all loved her and enjoyed spending time with her.

1 Corinthians 15:51-52 says, "Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed - in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed." For Kim, it will be but a twinkling of an eye. For us, we continue on, waiting for the moment at which we will be reunited.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Morristown Seventh Day Adventist Church, Sunday, February 23, 2025, at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Serenity House in Morristown, TN.
