Kimberly Carol Pollard passed away peacefully on September 20, 2025 at Gary Methodist Hospital at the age of 63. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, auntie, and friend remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for family and friends.

Born in East Chicago, Indiana, and graduated from East Chicago Roosevelt High School in 1981, Kim lived a life filled with purpose, compassion, and dedication. She touched the lives of many with her gentle spirit, generous heart, and kind presence.

She is survived by her children Kendra Pollard and Kendrick Evans, grandchildren Breiell Jackson and Kamario Evans, (sisters) Geraldine Mills, Debra Pollard, Diane Blalock, LaTaunya Romanazzi, and LaShawn Austin, (brothers) Charlie Pollard, Mac Arthur Pollard (Kim), and Arthur Pollard, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish the memories and love they shared.

She is preceded in death by her mother Daisy L. Pollard, father Arthur Lee Pollard Sr., (sister) Barbara (brothers) Michael, Keith and Kevin Pollard.

Though we grieve this great loss, we also give thanks for a life so beautifully lived. May Kim rest in eternal peace, and may we carry forward her legacy of love, strength, and faith.
