Kimberly Kay Staples was born on April 3rd, 1952 and passed away on November 7th, 2017. Kim was a resident of Queen Creek, AZ. She was raised in Mishawaka, Indiana, but Arizona was her true home. She was a graduate of Penn High School in 1970 in Mishawaka. Cancer took her life here on earth, but she has new life with Jesus Christ in Heaven. Kim was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Carol Staples and her brother Brett Staples. She is survived by her sisters Susie Stowell-Massari, Cristi Staples and Andrea Ether, also by her children Corie Cunha and Angela Clauson and eight grandchildren. Kim was very artistic and fun loving and loved people to a fault. She will be deeply missed by her family and her friends. We will not be holding a funeral or memorial service, but there will be a Destination Celebration in 2018. Date to be determined.

I saw her often when she took care of her mother, Carol. She was kind and caring and will be missed. So sorry she had to suffer from the terrible cancer that invaded her body. So glad she was back in Arizona. She left behind a loving family. Children, grandchildren, and three special sisters. Thank God she is finally healed and at peace. Love you Kim.

Mommy,

I love you more than words can express. You taught me to be caring, polite, hard working and real. I hope that Jesus had that cupcake I asked Him to have ready for you. I can only imagine how beautiful it is to meet Jesus and reunite with all of your loved ones and your pets and meet people you never imagined you would meet. Give our babies endless kisses and hugs and save the biggest hugs for Jesus. I miss you so much, from the moment we last looked into each others' eyes until we meet again.
