Kimberly Urbach Obituary
Kimberly E. Urbach, 54, of Lakemore, passed away suddenly Monday, June 8, 2015.
Kimberly was born in Akron, Ohio on June 2, 1961 to the late William and Janet Stafford. Kimberly was employed with First Energy Company for nine years. She was a member of Springfield Band Boosters and Alumni Band for many years. She participated in community theater and stand-up comedy to appease her inner applause junkie. In her free time, she loved spending time with her family and friends, who will sorely miss her smile and infectious laugh.
In addition to her parents, Kimberly was preceded in death by her aunt, Sandra Stafford. She is survived by husband, Timothy Urbach of 29 years; daughters, Sandra and Hannah Urbach; sister, Gwendolyn (Bill) Erskine; mother-in-law, Winnie Urbach; and many other loving family and friends.
Family and friends may call on Friday, June 12, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lakemore United Methodist Church, 1536 Flickinger Rd., Akron, Ohio 44312, with a memorial service to follow at 1 p.m., with Pastor Jeff Gindlesberger officiating. Lighting this candle today in remembrance of my cousin Kim's passing. We had a lot of great times growing up. I was blown away to hear of her passing at such a young age. Kim was just a year younger than I. God bless those in her family, and her friends left behind, who still mourn her passing.

I had the great pleasure of getting to know Kim as a customer. She was always so happy, never an unkind word, and such a sense of humor. I was always happy to see her when she walked in the door. We shared many"band mom" stories and had a little competition, Springfield vs Ellet. When I read of her passing, my daughter remarked that she was a favorite customer at Giant Eagle also. She was just genuine. May your memories of this very special woman give you comfort. She was loved and respected by many.

Kimmie, words cannot express how much I loved being around you and how much you influenced me to be a better all around person just by watching you. You are the best example I've ever seen of how God wants us to live on Earth. Never an unkind word. I loved hearing you talk about your adventures and activities with your family. Date night with your husband and many of your daughters' activities that I know they will cherish forever. Urbach family, you are in my prayers. The FirstEnergy family loved her dearly and we are all going to miss her but we cannot imagine your pain. I will always remember Kim's smile and funny stories, and how she shared warm hearted laughter easily with everyone. I'll miss our talks ranging from Duck Dynasty to vintage '50s cars to band camp adventures and beyond!
