Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to the entire Keating clan at this time of great sorrow. Kirk fought his battle valiantly. It was amazing to see a steady stream of family and friends by his side. I was fortunate enough to observe an extraordinary outpouring of support for his family in many forms. This support continued throughout his illness. Although Kirk is at peace with the world as he knew it, the sense of community togetherness that preveiled was phenomenal. It is, after all, a tribute to what growing up in Rockport is all about.
