MITCHELL KIRK F. III
Age 82, of Hampton Township, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016. Born March 9, 1933, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Kirk F. and Thelma (Weidner) Mitchell, Jr. He was an Army Veteran and a Knight of Columbus. As a member of St. Catherine of Sweden Church, he was an usher for over 20 years. He will be fondly remembered as loving husband, proud father and wonderful grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Clarke) Mitchell; children, Kirk T. (Michele) Mitchell, Lauren (Patrick) Devlin, Michael (Janet) Mitchell, John (Diana) Mitchell, Thomas (Christine) Mitchell; grandchildren, Kirk, Elizabeth, Kristin, Shanna, Daniel, Matthew, Nathaniel, Ashlee, Brian, Kevin, Amy, Adam, Mack, Jacob and Jonah; great- grandsons, Peter and Jacob Richard; sisters, Maureen Borres and Lois O'Keefe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Mitchell. Kirk's family will welcome friends from 1-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, January 18, 2016, at KING FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 2841 Woodland Circle in Allison Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at the St. Catherine of Sweden Roman Catholic Church in Allison Park. He will be laid to rest at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery (North Side Catholic) in Pittsburgh.
