Just few months ago we have a terrible loss in our family. I lost a loving brother Paul Penitani, and he's Kiti's very best friend and a counsin. When I found out about Kiti's sudden death, that's double the pain we are in. I love Kiti as my own brother, an uncle to my kids and a big brother to my husband. Our condolence to his family Vicki, Kiti Jr. and Maika. We still give God the Glory regardless what we go through in life, for He still a Loving and Wonderful God.
Lots of Love

To the Maile Family:
We had the great privilege to meet Kiti Maile at Disney's golf course. The words many people have used apply so well: gentle, patient, honest, and kind hearted with the children. Our son Michael will treasure the lesson he had with him. May God grant you strength and peace to support you after his death. Our deepest sympathies

Vickie, Kiti & Maika --
I'm numb. Words can't possibly express my sorrow and sympathy for you and all who knew Kiti. Be strong. Be courageous. Have faith. Things will work out. Our Heavenly Father loves you and will be with you if you seek Him and trust Him. Know that our prayers are with you, that you'll find comfort and peace in your hour of sorrow.

Each of us meet thousands of new faces each year and scarcely remember the brief encounter. Kiti's warmth and engaging smile, and the uninhibited joy he vibrated at the meeting of David and Jenny at their wedding is something Marty and I will never forget. We mourn with you in your loss and deeply regret the unfortunate passing of someone who made a difference. We will remember his smile, his talent and the electricity in his personality.
Our sympathy and love,

Dear Vickie,
We are stunned at the loss of Kiti and our sorrowing is expressed in heartfelt prayers that you will be comforted. Your graciousness at David's wedding reception will long be remembered and appreciated by our family. There was an empty place in David's heart reserved for Kiti that was filled in the kindliest manner. Kiti's gentleness, and loving manner toward David endeared him to our family and highlighted what a great man he truly was. We will always remember him and cherish the memory of his importance in our family. We will stay in touch with you and continue to pray for you and your children and extended family.
With love,
Nancy Seljestad

I don't know just what to say. I suppose there are really no words to ease pain in a time like this, but I did want to write and say that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Mrs. Maile and Family:
We had the pleasure and privilege to meet Kit at a Disney Institute golf seminar about six years ago.He immediately struck both of us with his extrordinary talent as a golf teacher and a warm feeling of affection. Beverly looked forward to being in Orlando to improve her golf game with Kit, her favorite instructor. Until last Thursday (2/13/03), we had not been to Orlando since just after your daughter's accident, three years ago. At our last visit Kit was despondent, but that didn't stop him from providing us with another great experience (just being in Kit's presence, and improving our golf games). Afriend of ours in Orlando has known of our admiration and respect for Kit. When he learned of Kit's passing, he called us. We do not know how to contact you directly, and we would likie to make a contribution in Kit's memory to the KESHET school for special needs children in Illinois. If you would furnish your address by return e-mail, we would like to send you the acknowledgment. Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. We will miss him too.

Dear Vickie and Family;
We all met so briefly here in Salt Lake City when my daughter Jennifer and David were married. The vibrance, energy and love that you all brought still remain with my family and me, and David has become such a cherished part of us that your sadness and loss are ours, as well. We have shed tears for you, and our love and prayers are sent to you as grieving Family. We are so sorry.
