Knox was born on February 3, 1942 in Corpus Christi, Texas to John T. and Dorothy Lou Graham. Knox graduated from Ray HS, served his country in the United States Air Force and graduated from University of Houston. He married his beautiful wife Karen in 1969 and together they raised 3 children.
Knox is survived by his loving wife Karen; son, James Graham of McAllen (wife Elva), daughter Mary Lewis of Round Rock and daughter Laura Hunter of Fairbanks AK (husband Dr. Tim Hunter). Grandchildren, Mason Lewis, Knox Lewis, Ramona Graham, Jack Hunter, and Brett Hunter. Brother, John Thomas Graham and his wife Rose of Houston, Texas.
