Today I went to Starbucks to get coffee for me and my boyfriend with our faithful pup Karma. I was informed at the window my drinks were paid for and was handed this card. Kris, thank you for your service. You were a true American hero and you accomplished so much in your life. I am so touched by your story. This hits close to home as my boyfriend was born 12/23/86. So much love and prayers to your family and friends.

Kris, thank you for your service to our country and for being so kind throughout our life. Your legacy continues to live on today reminding people to treat each other with kindness— because life is short, as we see from your story! I was in line at Starbucks in Huntingdon Valley and the man in front of me paid for my order. The barista gave me your Random Acts of Kindess Card with your picture on it, which brought me here. I’d like to thank the man in front of me who paid for my order and say I’m so very touched by your story!
All my love to your family and friends— A Music Teacher @ SDP & life long resident of Bucks County. Christina

I went to Starbucks today on April 2, 2021. I usually go there a few times a week to get my coffee fix. When I rolled up to the window to pay the cashier told me that the cars in front of me have been paying for each other and my order was paid for and he handed me a card in honor of Kris. This was really special and I’m gonna keep this card forever. I did not know Kris at all but this really touched me deeply. Rest In Peace

For Kris to die so young is a such a shock. While I did not see him for a long time, I’m glad I was able to reconnect with him over the holidays the last few years. Take comfort that he is at with God and at peace.

Kris was & will forever be their “Army hero” we were able to have him with us for steak dinners, trampoline champ, all while he brought boys candy & comics- while he was at Walter Reed!
I would pick him up, he would be bombarded by the boys (plenty of questions & ‘do-again s’ especially on trampoline)!
We are so lucky to have that time with him! ❤❤❤❤
You will be forever in our hearts & memories

We knew Kris when he was a little boy. Even back then he was a sweet, kindhearted person who cared deeply for others. He completed his life with purpose of servicing others. Bravo! Kris

Walt, Beth and Aunt Jo,
I have no words to express my deep sorrow on Kris’ passing. He was an amazing man whose compassion and service leadership will continue in the many lives he touched. Taking leave to be present with our family when my mom died fifteen years ago still touches my heart. Sending prayers and love from Chicago.

I feel very blessed and honored to have known Kris and spend time with him working for a few of his charities with the veterans. Kris was an amazing hero who will forever be loved and appreciated in my heart and the hearts of all my family who had the pleasure of working along side of him. Kris had a contagious affectionate smile which is welcoming compassionate and loving all in one. He truly will be missed.
This was one of my favorite Xmas dinners I was privilege to work along side of Kris.

When I look back when our boys wrestled , it brings a smile to my face. I remember we were in split sessions waiting upon the completion of CR South- Kris didn’t have his physical papers in and coach Sil said you can’t wrestle until you get this done. My husband and I put Kris in the car and took him to get his physical that afternoon! ! Kris always made us laugh! God bless you Kris and we’ll see each other again someday.

Kris was my son Patrick's roommate. I got to know him through Patrick and my times at their home. I was blessed because of the growing relationship I had with Kris; he even made sure he sent a present for mother's day to me.
The world is a colder place without him.
Rest well warrior. Your service is complete.
Your work with V E T S will be carried on in your honor.
May your memories bring you comfort.
