Kristen Danielle Privett

Heaven gained our special angel, Kristen Danielle Privett, 20, of New Richmond, who was called home on Monday, April 11, 2011, following a sudden illness. Through organ donation, Kristen was able to give the gift of life. Born May 5, 1990, in Raleigh County, she was the daughter of Mert Privett Jr. and Angela Hayworth Privett of New Richmond. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Willie E. and Ruth Hayworth; paternal grandfather, Mert Privett Sr.; an aunt, Patricia Kershner; and a cousin Rachel Kershner. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving sister and helpful caregiver, Rhiannon Privett of the home; paternal grandmother, Greta Privett of New Richmond; uncles, Terry Privett and his wife, Marsha of New Richmond, Robert Hayworth of Fort Springs, Roland Hayworth of Prosperity and Jerry Hayworth of Stephenson; aunts, Alice Kershner and her husband, Jimmy, of Asbury, Barbara Shrader and her husband, Gary, of Stephenson and Brenda Hayworth of Alta; special great aunt and uncle, Dixie and Larry Short of Pineville; a host of special cousins; and special teacher, Carol Asbury and her husband, Dennis, of Kopperston. A very special thanks to the New Life Fellowship Church, Johnstown Road, Beckley, for their prayers and special gift that was given to Kristen. We also would like to thank everyone for their prayers, food and thinking of our family during this difficult time.
