Kristi Rhodes Obituary
Kristi Rhodes, age 25, died suddenly on 1/30/21.
Kristi lived nearly her entire life in Muncie. She attended Eaton Elementary, where she was twice the school spell bee champion. She attended Delta Middle School for 2 years. While there she excelled in academics, basketball, and track-winning the county meet 100 and 200 meter dashes as a 7th grader. She won the State Hershey games girls 13-14 200 meter dash and standing long jump. She graduated from Muncie Central, attaining induction into the National Honor Society and receiving the co-MVP award for girls tennis her junior year.
Kristi found her happiness in her loving relationship with her long term boyfriend. Together they found their greatest joy in parenting their now 4 year old son, Javar Smith.
In addition to Javar, Kristi is survived by her parents - Greg Rhodes (Muncie) and Dr. Ann Morris (Franklin).She also leaves behind extended family and special family friends that loved her unconditionally.
There will be no services at the present time. The past few years have at times been painful for Kristi and those that supported her. Kristi is now healed and whole again. May each person that knew her remember the goodness within Kristi and happy times shared. One favorite memory is of the preteen who loves horses, riding and her cat Playful. May she now be riding joyfully on her favorite horse Rosie and snuggling with Playful in heaven.

I knew Kristi when she was younger she attended school with my daughter Margaret McKibben they were friends it was very sweet kind and she had such a beautiful soul she was bright and uplifting and a pleasure to be around and an honor to have known her he was a very beautiful person inside and out may she rest in peace he will never be forgotten she will always be in my thoughts imemories in my heart may you rest in peace and to the parents Greg in in prayers are with you I am so sorry for your loss.

She was a very beautiful smart brilliant young lady she was very sweet she was a very kind with a beautiful personality I love getting to know her as a young girl going to Eaton Elementary he was a friend of my daughter's Margaret McKibben I am so saddened to hear this she was a precious gift from God and now our precious angel spline with the Lord Greg and Ann am so sorry for your loss our family is praying for your family she'll never be far from our heart our prayers are going out to you the McKibben family from Eaton Indiana we are back now and Indiana we live in Muncie Kristi was a very good friend to my daughter and I am so glad we had had the chance to get to know her is he truly is a beautiful person inside and out may she rest in peace
