Kristie McCaffrey Obituary
She was a graduate of Sprayberry High School in 1997.
She is survived by her daughter, Mackenzie McCaffrey; parents, George C. and Kathy F. Pickle; sister, Renee Silvasy.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday December 2, 2016 at 11 AM in the Winkenhofer Chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2000 Cobb Parkway SE, Marietta, GA 30060.
The family will receive friends at a reception that will follow the service.

I was so saddened, last night, to read of Kristie's passing. Today, being Thanksgiving, and the year anniversary of her passing, I want to say how grateful I am that I was able to know her. I was in 42nd Steet with her in 1997. I can still hear her voice and remember her smile and talent as she captivated us on that stage. But even more, I remember the kindness she always showed me. Many in her age group overlooked or past us younger, unpopular kids, but not Kristie. She wore her heart and her kindness on her sleeve. My heart and sympathy go out to her daughter and family. Ms. Pickle, I saw first hand your kindness as you worked with us in the musicals. And you brought to life the Gold Company, which Kristie was a beautiful star in. I know where Kristie got her love and kindness from as I saw your love and kindness for us, as well. Thank you for raising such a beautiful daughter. She touch my life in a beautiful way, and I'll never forget her.

My belated prayers are for God's comfort and strength to be with George, Kathy, Renee, and the rest of Kristie's family; to continue receiving the healing God gives abundantly. Though it has been many years, my eyes teared as I remembered taking and being present for a couple pictures in the slideshow, bringing back several good, funny, and fond memories. May we meet again, my sister for a season.

I am sitting here in stunned silence and disbelief at the loss of someone very dear to me. Kristie was a close friend for over twenty years, and the Pickle family always treated me as one of their own. I only just now heard of her passing, and I send my deepest apologies that I was not there for the funeral. To Mama and George Pickle, I am at a loss for words to describe the magnitude of what I am feeling inside right now. God bless you and your family and I pray for strength to get you all through such a monumental ordeal. Kristie will forever have a place in my heart, and those memories will never fade.
