I was so sad to hear the news about Kris. I remember him as one of the best at the the school for the deaf in his early years---always pleasant, happy, and hard working, never letting his physical limitations slow him down. He was a very bright and artistic youngster, with a wonderful spirit. An all around great kid! You are in our prayers at this sad time, that God will bring peace and comfort. We feel blessed for having known Kris!

He left a lasting impression on me personally, he always had a positive attitude, a smile on his face and somthing encouraging to say to everyone he spoke with. GOD called Kristofer home at this time for a reason, a reason we are not to understand yet, just know that he is where he's suppose to be. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

It was truly a testament to what a great person Kris was. We wish you nothing but love, peace and God's embrace as you grieve this loss. Peace to you all.

Kris was the type of person anyone would love to be around. He always brought a positive energy and left everyone smiling. Extremely creative, open-minded and friendly to all. We were all very blessed to call him a friend. He'll be missed by so many.

I am truly at a loss for words when I found out about Kris. My heart just sunk so deep in to my chest. He was an amazing person and will never be forgotten. We all used to be so close, and then we all slowly parted our seperates. But recently, thanks to the great invention of facebook, I had reconnected with Kris and we talked about how well he was doing and where he was going with his life. He was one of the most talented people I have known, and one of the sweetest. He truly touched my heart, and as he was there to reach out to many people, I will try to do the same as he did in this time of tragedy. You were truly an amazing guy, Kris, and you will be with all of us always. <3

I have not had the opportunity to be in contact with Kris or his family for several years, but in his "early days" at the School for the Deaf Kris distinguished himself as being an extraordinary little guy. Although I didn't know Kris as well as I would have liked, there were many times that I was able to hang out with him through mutual friends. He was the kindest, most self-less person that I have ever had the honor of meeting. He cared so much for his friends and always tried to make you laugh. On his recent visit to our home in Maine, he remarked how beautiful the sky looked, how wonderful it felt to swim, and oh how he loved my cooking. Kris and I were good friends during school and were planning on hanging out again soon, only just a few weeks ago discussing tattoo ideas. I'm at a loss for words at this tragic turn of events. My condolences to his family, who were always good to me when I visited their home. I wish you luck in making it through this terrible ordeal and finding some semblance of peace.

To this day, Kris is still one of the best people I have ever met. He could make you laugh without even batting an eye. His art was absolutely amazing. We grew up together. Because of him, I learned sign language. He was an inspiration, a gift from God. Now God has taken that gift back.
