I wrote a book last year and spoke to Mr. Kaiser about what his song "Pass It On" did for me as a young girl who didn't know Christ. His music and the story or Jesus came at the same time.
Last August Mr. Kaiser and I talked by phone about his song, my book, and I was thrilled to speak with him...I learned this morning of his passing and my heart is with all his family. What a life. What a legacy. I shared with others today's news. My heart sings what he gave us all.

I met this man only once in my lifetime. He was just one month younger than I was at 19. He was then a music student at Moody Bible Institute I sang for a meeting where he played the piano. I was so fascinated by his playing that I watched him and forgot to look out at the audience. He seemed to be a humble young man who was dedicated to God and to music even then.

How sad it was to hear the news about Kurt. I send my condolences to the entire family. I enjoyed Kurt's friendship and our racketball games. He scared me one time when he said he needed to rest for a minute or two. I heard a clicking sound and asked him what it was. He responded that it was his pacemaker telling him that he needed to rest a little. I thought to myself,"My God, I've killed Kurt Kaiser!" I was scared out of my wits.
I have thought of all of you often over the years and wondered what all the children had done with themselves. My thoughts and prayers are with you in the days ahead.
