Kurt Nasta Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 30, 2026.
Hopkinton - Kurt Nasta passed away unexpectedly on February 5, 2026, from complications of congestive heart failure. He will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and the lasting impression he made on all who knew him.

A graduate of Framingham South High School's Class of 1981, Kurt carried a deep sense of pride throughout his life. He was especially honored to have served in the United States Marine Corps, often shouting "Semper Fi and Ooh Rah!"

Kurt was known for his ever-present smile and his ability to brighten any room. He embraced life. And especially loved celebrating St. Patrick's Day. As a devoted Boston sports fan, he liked the Bruins best and enjoyed sharing laughs and good times with those around him. His personality, like his cooking, was extra spicy.

A testament to his great love and loyalty is that he leaves behind many great friends.

He is survived by his sister, Joanne Nasta of Chelsea, Mass, and his two goddaughters, Courtney Collins and Kayleigh Shaw, who will forever cherish his memory.

In honor of Kurt's service, donations may be made to the New England Home and Center for Veterans: https://donate.stripe.com/eVa2bR3av48fdHOdQQ

Kurt's kindness, laughter, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
