Kurt Sinz

Kurt HPH Sinz Kurt Sinz passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2005, following a battle with lymphoma. He was born in Hamburg, Germany, Aug. 9, 1940 to the late Curt and Margarete Sinz, and immigrated with them to America at the age of sixteen. They resided in Glendale, CA where he attended Glendale Academy. He graduated from Texas A&M in 1967 with a Ph.D. in Physics. He was a California State Scholar, Graduate Fellow from Texas A&M, and a Resident Research Associate, NSF, NASA. Kurt was a physicist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory for 36 years. He is survived by his wife, Beverly; and four children, Erika, Philip, Katrina and Paul. A memorial service will be held at Lafayette Presbyterian Church, 49 Knox Dr., Lafayette, Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, at 4:00pm.
