Kyle, it has been a year that I have lived without you in my life. The pain has at times been unbearable yet I have endured. My heart is broken but I am still able to love. I miss your bear hugs and your incredible smile and laughter. Your sense of humor matched mine and what fun we had going at it with each other. I was able to do that with Pop Pop too. I'm working on the guilt I feel and know you do not want me to carry it. Entering into the second year of missing you I promise to continue to be strong and to let go of the unwarranted feelings. My biggest promise is to continue to keep you in our everyday lives with stories, pictures and parties. Most of all I will keep loving you with all my heart and soul, mom

I cant believe how much time has passed and yet it seems like only yesterday i saw your face in my doorway. I HATE that you left so soon after only being in my life for 5 years i felt robbed yes im being selfish but you were one of the only friends i had in this god forsaken town and somehow i wish i could have been there to stop the hands of time and keep this from happening .
