To say Kyle Rouse was my best friend would be an understatement. He was like my brother.
For the past 17 years, not a day went by without communicating with Kyle. He made my life better and brighter - for that I am eternally grateful.
Kyle was special to so many people for so many reasons. He was fun, clever, kind, and thoughtful. Kyle was loved and will be profoundly missed.
I will forever fondly remember my dearest William Kyle Rouse.

Kyle took me to my first real drag show, hosted by Lady Bunny, the first time I was ever in DC. He was a joy to be around, a fellow Seminole, always kind and soft spoken. I will always remember and rejoice this night!
Love you Kyle!

Kyle impressed us from the moment we met him. His cousin Travis and I just had our first son and went to visit Kyle, his mother and grandmother in 1999. He had such talent connecting with our little boy and showed genuine interest in getting to know us as well. He was so young but had the intelligence and wisdom of an old soul. It was obvious to us that Kyle was unique, so full of life and love for people. He has always had a special place in my heart and I am so very sorry he didn't get to live a full life. The world was a better place with him in it. My deepest condolences and sympathy to Tony, Gabrielle and family and everyone that had a close relationship with Kyle. Kyle, you will be forever missed.

Kyle was a Florida neighbor who helped this old lady with whatever I needed. He especially worked in my garden; weeding, laying mulch and moving flowers. I think of him every day as I pass my garden. He was a kind soul and is greatly missed.
