Kyron McAllister Obituary
Kyron served in the United States Army from May 1983 to March 1987. He had a successful career journey, starting at the University of Chicago from 1992 to 1997, followed by roles at Computer Science Corporation, Furst Person, Liquidus Marketing, and finally, Rush Hospital from 2007 to 2023. He continued his career at Northwestern Hospital until his passing in 2024.
Educationally, Kyron attended Parkview High School in Little Rock, Arkansas, and pursued higher education at Northern Arizona University (B.S.) and Roosevelt University (M.S.).
In his free time, Kyron enjoyed writing and made significant contributions to numerous scientific journals. He was a dedicated professional and a respected member of his community.
Interment will be:

I met Kyron in the late 80s when we were both attending Northern Arizona University. We both lived on the over 21 floor of Sechrist Hall. The guys on this floor had a great rapport and formed an informal fraternity. We studied together, partied together, and helped one another. Kyron was an important part of this group of diverse individuals. He was always easy to smile and laugh and generally brightened up any gathering. He loved to listen to live music and party. I remember sharing many glasses of beer and shots of venomous substances at the Mad Italian and other local bars and clubs with Kyron as well as spring break in Puerto Penasco, Mexico. The last time I saw Kyron was at a reunion of the gang (known as the Termites) in 2012 in Flagstaff. He hadn't changed a bit (except for being really buff). He was still the same happy-go-lucky individual I remembered from college. I wish we had gotten together more often over the years but life got in the way. We are all saddened and diminished by his passing at too young an age and under such tragic circumstances. His was a life well lived. You are, and will continue to be, missed.

I remember so many wonderful vacations, walking across Athens / Barcelona / Venice / Paris / Rome / San Francisco / Provincetown / Puerto Vallarta. hanging out late into the night in the old quarter of San Sebastian. the beach at Quepos, and in Cancun. birthday dinners at the Red Inn. I remember him at his computer working on publications for work, making things with his 3 D printer, writing short stories and his novel, downloading all the music in the world and making discs of it. I remember going to see bands at Market Days. dinners out with friends. i remember the week trapped in New orleans during and after Katrina. I remember his passion for fairness, for people being treated decently by others / by the government. I remember all that time he was at the gym, and the impressive results it got him. I remember thousands of science fiction movies / books / tv shows.

I met Kyron in Chicago more than 30 years ago. My memories of him are of the following: he was extraordinarily good looking, he was super friendly and he was one of the smartest people I had ever known. Every time I saw him I'd give him a big hug. He was that kind of person. I'm so sorry this happened. He was a good man.

Kyron is my baby son. Every time I close my eyes, I see all the cute. The good and bad he did as a baby, toddler, teenager, and young adult. After Easter dinner, as he was leaving to go home, he came to me to say goodbye and placed his hand on my shoulder. I kissed his hand because it was on my shoulder. Be with your brother and grandparents. God bless you, baby.
