The Reserve Officer program with NRP will certainly miss Wayne. He signed up to work just about every boat show and was involved in many other activities the Reserve Officers do for NRP. In the photo attached, he was taking a CPR/First Aid training with the Agency. Sending the family prayers during this time. I'm sorry I will be unable to attend the service.

Wayne always volunteered his time with the Anne Arundel North Ducks Unlimited, but I remember you could tell his real passion was getting kids involved with the outdoors through his other volunteer efforts and enjoying time with his pups. We're gonna miss you Wayne!

Wayne was one of my best friends growing up in Collegeville. I remember playing pool in his basement on hot summer days. I was very fortunate to know him and travel with him and other friends to Philmont Scout Camp. This picture is the group in front of the Collegeville Fire Company. I´ll miss him.

Wayne was one of the few people among my classmates and in scouting who treated me with kindness. May he rest with the angels.

As a fella classmate it´s always sad to hear of one of our own passing. I am so sorry for your loss.

The first time I met Mr. & Mrs. Schatz were very kind to me when they came to visit Laura at college. May their souls reunite and they rest in eternal peace. My sincere condolences Laura and family.

I will miss our talk´s wile sitting on the back porch, as we looked out on Broad Creek. Your knowledge of nature and your love for all animals, even snakes, has helped me view life differently. May you rest with Linda in peace....

We pray that your grief and sorrow may be mitigated with the knowledge that Wayne's civic minded volunteering helped and inspired many.  He always had a project under way but was always ready to help others or lead and instructional class.  He is loved and will be missed
