Lachlan was good and well loved friend. I loved his imagination for possibility, practical feedback, authenticity, sense of adventure, fierce hope, use of logic and even his stubborness was endearing. Some of his stories were so funny and witty. Lachlan had so many tales of travelling the Australian outback and Europe on motorbike repairing it along the way. Stories that inspire me to have adventure in my life. I was always touched by how sentimental he was of his children and grandchildren. They were always close to his heart. My world is better because I met him, but emptier without him.

We especially want to express our deepest condolences to Lachlan's father Jack who, as we understand was his closest friend and companion throughout his illness.
