Auntie Babe was as special as they come...I have tremendously warm memories of her as a child and adult - amazing times on the farm and visits over the years. Of the most memorable is when I was 13 years old visiting Granny (Marian Becker) in North Dakota and Auntie Babe came to visit and convinced my mom (Darlyne Chandler) to let her pierce my ears in Grannys kitchen that day! Much to my Dads (Joe Chandler) chagrin! It took him a few years to forgive her for that! Lol! It will always be one of my fondest memories. Loved her smile and her infectiously warm spirit! See you in heaven...xoxo

Well, I would like to share one of my favorite stories about my Aunty Babe. My sister, Erin, and I were visiting our Granny, Marion Becker. We were young, 7, and 9 maybe. We went to the lake cottage and Babe was with us and at some point I asked for a drink. My Gran doesn't waste ANYTHING. Granny pulled out some apple juice and poured me a glass. I drank it and went in for some more. That's when I noticed the biggest blop of furry mold in the bottle. I looked at B
abe and asked her what that was, with my lips curled in disgust. She said, with her Eyebrows raised clear into her hairline, she said.. "well, if you die, we will know why" with a twinkle in her eye. ♥♥♥ I will have her in my heart and mind all the rest of my days. What an Aunty❤❤❤

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.. Babe was like a grandma to me, she gave the BEST hugs and kisses! She was my grandmas best friend. So many memories, I could go on ALL day and night! She will be forever missed! I love you Babe!!

Babe helped raise Adam. When he wasn't at home, he was somewhere with Lee. She was a great neighbor and friend when she lived on Balsam. Her enthusiasm for life was admirable. Our sympathy to her family.
