Laine, I can't believe we won't be seeing you again. It's been over twenty years that I first heard of you by reading your very unique articles for our Chapter Q newsletter, you had a talent with writing :)
You were a quiet gentle soul and I'm sorry I didn't take the time to sit down and just talk with you.

Thank you Laine for being a mentor to me since 1976 when I was a new kid in the neighborhood. You taught me to be responsible and work hard regardless of the good or bad things that come in life. I kept in touch with you since my arrival to La Habra. You introduced me to some wonderful people that were good examples to me as well.

Dear Laine, I wish I had taken the time to come visit you. I always invited you to visit us, but maybe you weren't comfortable around alot of other people.
I hope your passing was peaceful & I know your mom, dad & brother were there to meet you.
I can't believe we've been friends for almost 40yrs! I will miss you, but you will be in my prayers until we meet again.
