Lamont,
I've been sitting here for the past hour trying to put my thoughts into words. All I want to say is, I pray you're keeping the people on the other side in stitches, like you've kept me in stitches so many times here on earth.

Always,

Hello Lamont!

I just wanted to thank you for asking your mother to invite me to your life celebration ceremony this morning. When she told me of your service, I wished her strength through the sadness of your departure. She told me not to be sad, and that she would be strong and that you wanted me to attend the CELEBRATION of your life!

Such fantastic words from a wonderful person. She said you want us to celebrate the joy you have brought to those around you.

Please know I have shed many tears of JOY for you, Lamont. I brought the books to your family that you wanted me to bring to to them.

I know many people do not know who the figures were in your casket today, but I know who they are. What an appropriate choice.

I only knew you these past few years, but it was wonderful to see the photos displayed at your service today. I especially liked the one of you as a little fellow wearing the Hulk T-shirt.

Look down on us, and give us strength, sir! May you cross that rainbow bridge! May God welcome you into Heaven (or Valhalla, as Thor would call it!). Know peace.

Say hello to Jack Kirby for me, and experience all of the super-powers I know you always wanted.

Excelsior, Lamont!

Your friend,

Brett

To the Robinson family: May you find comfort in remembering all the wonderful and fun times spent with Lamont. When Lamont found out about the death of our neighbor Mrs. Rivers, he knew how special she was to him, from a little boy and thru his illness. I guess Lamont said I can let go of this sick body, I don't have to take this journey alone, I have my neighbor to travel with me to our new home thru those pearly gates of heaven. God Bless the family with peace and comfort.

To the Family,
Our prayers and sympathy go out to you. May God continue to comfort you and strenthen you. There is no sorrow that Heavan cant heal. Lamont fought the good fight of faith and now God has called him home. Rest assured that Lamont is resting with his Heavanly Father and at peace. Love you and God bless you all!!!!

I lost my little sister 16 years ago so I know how difficult this time is. Her memories keep me going and give me peace. Its never easy losing a child/sibling but as the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine the memories of Lamont will also help you heal and bring you peace. My condolences to the Robinson Family.

To the Family: I'm honored to know you. Lamont is on the battlefield for the Lord. Now that he has met His Saviour, He met Him with a smile, He healed his wounded spirit, And owned him as His child... Hold onto the memories.

Sharing in your sorrow with love and family,

Mont,

Today is my birthday & while cleaning up, I found my birthday & Christmas cards from you! The cards truly summed up our relationship. We have had good and bad times but mostly good memories. We didn’t always like each other but there was never a doubt about the love. I am so sad to see you go but I’m glad that you are able to fly free again like you used to. By now you’ve probably found Grandma and she’s made you about 20 combination sandwiches LOL. Tell her I love her too. I can rest peacefully at night to know that I was by your side through your good and bad times over these past years. Even though your body had changed you still possessed the same state of mind up until the very end. I hope that you heard all that I said to you when you were making your transition and I was in some way comforting to you. The house is too quiet without you and I keep hoping I will get a “thumbs up” from you again. I will miss you so much that words can’t even explain what I’m feeling right now. I could go on and on but you know exactly how I feel so I’m going to stop here. I miss & love you Big Bruvah and I hope you are behaving yourself up there and don’t get put out because of your big mouth; be easy man.

Love ya always,

Boobie
