Lane ANTOSH

Its way to tragic to hear about the Loss of Lane. I knew Lane years and years ago. It was an amazing experience to know him, talk to him and to learn with him. He was truly an amazing young man and he will be missed. My condolences go to Lanes family.

Our deepest sympathies for your loss. We only just found out yesterday and we are shocked and saddened by the news. We had not seen Lane for several years, but remember him playing in the bay with the kids, and Braden remembers playing endless hours of Xbox with Lane. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

He was a friend, a caring one too. I remember being one of his best pals, being an admin along side him.

The worst thing couldn't have happened to the best family. Your family has been through so much. I hope you find peace. My condolences to Wanda and Lindsay.

Wanda - There will never be the right words to give you comfort. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Know that you will find the support in the people who surround you. Though we have not known each other long, I am surrounding you with hugs. If you need anything, I am there. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm sitting listening to Amazing Grace and thought of Lane. Even though I only met Lane a few times at Relay for Life, I know he was good and kind person. My heart truly breaks for you.

I think of you all every moment. There is no easy path. I fill my heart with you and Lane.

I was just on your facebook page Wanda and I was reminded by seeing all of the photos of you and of Lane, that the brightness of Lane's smile, his spirit and personality are the spitting image of you. You have shared that glow with both your kids. Lane's purpose must be so great.

I will keep close in my heart who Lane was, and share that through my life, my kids. I know Lane will continue to make the world a better place.

I remember all the fun times I had with Lane, most of which were playing video games. I also remember a time when we went quad-sledding at the farm and after one trip around the yard Lane realized that it was a bit rocky on the bottom and he quit because it hurt his bum. There were also the times he'd would lend me stuff like webkins or gameboy games just out of the kindness of his heart. I will always treasure these memories and more of the fun times we had at the farm and at the cabin. R.I.P. Lane :3

I only wish I had been able to know Lane better, but from what I did know, he was a sweet, kind, gentle and loving boy who brought and radiated happiness everywhere he went. He was so lucky too, to have the best, most loving and caring mom he could possibly have. Lane was as blessed to have you as you were to have him, you made his much too-short life a happy and positive one, I hope that fact and the happy memories help you through your grief. Lane is one of the kindest people I will ever meet. It is an honor that I get to say that I knew him. I can honestly say that I never heard Lane say a single bad word about anyone or anything. And knowing I won't be able to speak with him again for a long time is extremely hard to accept.

Lane would always sit with me in the library at Greenall on our lunches. I would draw in my sketch book while he would tell me stories about his life, his friends, mine craft, and his family. He loved his family more than I have ever seen any teenager love their family. It breaks my heart to see someone with his kindness and generosity taken from the world. But when you think about Lane, you cannot blame God for needing him up in heaven. I'm sure Lane's purpose in heaven is more than any of us can dream of. His time on earth was a blessing to everyone who came into contact with him. All of my memories that I made with Lane were simple memories, ones that you usually don't think about. Now they are some of my most treasured though.

My prayers and thoughts are with your family. I know Lane has been watching over you and will continue to do so for the rest of your lives. Someday we will all be reunited with him but until then he will be looking down on us, smiling and sharing in all of our experiences. Thank you for just being you Lane, I'll miss you.

I've known Lane since he was a little boy. Always calling into work to tell his mom about his day when he got home from school.Or when his mom & I would get together with friends and the warm hugs he'd give to all of us when greeting us hello and goodbye....we still can't understand why you were taken away so soon. Too young, life all infront of you.... you may not have known it when you walked this earth but you touched a lot of peoples lives and brought a whole community and families together to pay tribute to you. You were a very special boy, may your mom find peace and comfort in the days ahead that she has another guardian angel watching out for her. Wanda and Lindsay, we met for mere moments everyday during the Disney trip this past holiday season, but your family touched us and we are so truly sorry for your devastating loss. My condolences are with the family and friends of Lane. He was a gentle soul who had a great sense of humour, a caring heart and plenty of patience for others. He Looked up to his big sister and was so proud of her accomplishments. Always had something to say about his big sister! He was also very proud of his mother, had a deep respect and love for his mother that shone through in everything he did. Would always want to share things with her, for that you are truly blessed for having raised a wonderful young man. He so wanted things to be good for his father too. Lane spent many a time worrying about how his father was doing, and carried that with him where ever he went. Just wanting peace for all that he knew and loved. To those that that had the opportunity to know Lane, you were truly fortunate to have crossed paths with this young man. May you rest in peace Lane, knowing how you left this world a better place because of all the people you have touched.

Lane was a wonderful friend and it was a pleasure to get to know lane in ODS and he will always be in my thoughts. I will always remember lane for how he always kept smiling even when everyone else was complaining about the long hikes and I'm glad he got to experience all the ODS trip and do things even most adults don't get to experience. Lane this year is for you and we will carry you with us for the future.

Throughout the last 3 years at Greenall I have had many classes with Lane. He would say hi to me and ask me how my day was going anytime that he saw me, and he never failed to have a smile on his face. It is a blessing and an honour to have had the opportunity to know him. Lane touched everyone who had the chance to meet him in a positive way, and you raised him to be that way. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.

As I read all the wonderful words from friends and family, I don't know what I can say that hasn't already been said. We loved and will miss Lane. Wanda, Doreen, and everyone who loved Lane, I'm so sorry his life was cut short long before it should have. I just wish Lane could see how well liked he was. Lane's obituary not only exemplifies the Greenall ODS program and its leaders, but shows how he loved the experience and was so rewarded and proud of his accomplishments. Conner was a graduate of ODS the year prior to Lane and I know he certainly shares in Lane's experiences! I've never met Lane but from his fabulous note to his dad, he was remarkable and clearly grew into a young man! I wish you all strength during this very difficult time! We will continue to lobby for safer highways in his sake!
