Lanny Paul LeBrun June 9, 1945 ~ January 31, 2015 Lanny Paul passed away peacefully at his home at 2:00 PM on January 31, 2015 at the age of 69. Released at last from his physical infirmities, Lanny is now free, resting in the arms of his heavenly Father. Beloved son of Inez Hebert LeBrun Eiermann and the late Leonce Paul LeBrun. Stepson of the late John H. Eiermann. Also survived by many cousins and Uncle Frank (Wiggs) Von Hoven. Tenderly and lovingly cared for by his cousin and caregiver for the last 12 years, Mercedes Fury Hasler. A special "thank you" to Beth, Lanny's wound care nurse, for never being more than a phone call away. Also thanks to the Heart of Hospice Organization for their care and understanding during Lanny's last few weeks. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at ST. HENRY CHURCH, 812 General Pershing St., New Orleans, LA 70115 at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 5, 2015. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Vincent #1 Cemetery.
