Always been a big fan of Laura Parker no matter if it was dark shadows or many of the TV shows she get started one of the best actresses of her time she will never be forgotten I love watching the show she's in.

I have always been and still am a huge fan of
Dark Shadows. The original series, which ran from June 1966 until April of 1971. I really enjoyed Lara as any character she played, but Angelique is still a particular favorite. I can definitely tell that she genuinely loved that part, and I agree with her when she said "Angelique was my best part." I was saddened to hear that she had cancer. Hopefully, she had a good transition.
Wherever Lara went, I trust she was reunited with Jonathan Frid, Louis Edmonds and everyone else who left from the cast. I hope she´s having a blast on the other side. She was and still is gorgeous!

I was very lucky to have met Lara Parker multiple times in person, plus have very nice and strong memories of her as well!! She was always nice, kind, and stunningly beautiful at least in my own personal opinion. It was sad and probably stunning when I found out that she was no longer with us. There are times that I remember her and absolutely miss her dearly!! At the same time, I will love her forever. Rest in peace, and thank you so very much for all of the incredible and wonderful memories you gave to me and not just from Dark Shadows!!

In 2020 I had the privilege of emailing with Lara when I was arranging some purchases of her books, painting, etc. She was so kind and I was going to send her a photo of her giclee portrait of Angelique hanging the bonus room of our new house in a couple of weeks when we got it hung. It saddens me to know I'll never have that opportunity. I first saw her as a pre-teen watching Dark Shadows. She was so beautiful, yet scared me to death. Her roll in Race With the Devil was amazingly played. I have always thought she was one of the most beautiful, talented and intelligent people. I'd like to extend my sincere sympathies to her entire family.

Having gotten my homework done just so I could watch Dark Shadows at 4 p.m. every day, my fascination with the beautiful blonde woman playing Angelique Bouchard grew. It culminated with a DS convention 35 years ago, when I and thousands of others were able to meet and greet our idols from the show. I have a fond memory of introducing my then-nine-year-old nephew to Ms. Parker and her reply: "My, what a handsome young man!" Rest in peace, Lara...

I was just a kid watching Dark Shadows with my Mom after school. Angelique was such a complex and frightening character. I couldn't get over how beautiful she was. Wow, those incredibly beautiful eyes! Please accept my most sincere condolences at such an immense loss. Lara was one in a million and you can tell in the photos years after Dark Shadows she was a sweet, lovely lady who will be missed greatly.

Lara Parker created a timeless character who was at once evil and at other misunderstood because of unrequited love. A great talent and many other acting and roles and teaching. She will be missed. It is very sad.

I met Lara Parker at a Dark Shadows convention when I was 13. I had a crush on her from the show, so I was excited and nervous at the same time. She turned to greet me, and those eyes of hers widened, and she looked me in mine and said, "You´re going to do big things."
My mother minimized it, brushed it off, and told me she probably said that to everyone, but those words have kept me going in the toughest of times, kept me alive through my darkest moments.
Never underestimate the power of words, and the spells they cast upon others.
Lara may have only played a witch on television, but her spell has saved my life, more than once.

I met Lara for the first time at the 50th anniversary of Dark Shadows in Tarrytown, New York. What an absolute thrill to have met the one the only "Angelique". She created the role of the witch with such exceptional perfectionism. One look into those big beautiful green eyes said it all.
