In memory of
Karen Shulman
July 9, 2015
I met Larry in college and reconnected about 25 years ago. He lived his life with gusto and always had a smile on his face. His face would light up when he spoke about his son Justin and he was so proud of him. He felt so blessed to have found the love of his life,Betty- and loved to travel and share all the adventures with her. I am so sorry to hear he was taken from us so soon-My deepest sympathy to everyone. May the memories we have help ease the pain in our hearts. We will all miss you my friend-

We knew Larry in the '70s through his cousins Josh and Cyn, who was our children's teacher. He was putting himself through clg & working at Willowbrook. Don't think he was more then 23. He was great with children and our kids loved him. We lost touch, I think because he moved from SI to MA. The last time we saw him he'd become a lawyer.
Larry had a gentle soul. He loved Baskin Robins pralines ice cream.

I loved Larry for the way he lived his life before this final war with a scourge he'd beaten before I met him. He was fearless. I loved Larry for the way he played basketball, in a harmless homage to fun and to time having fun with friends. He was a great basketball player. I loved Larry for way he showed me I might see and savor what's real and meaningful and to get past myself and the moronic distractions I let distract me. He set a bar for me I'm still trying to reach. And I loved Larry for including Cathy and my children and me in his travels and his photos and for letting us share the moments he treasured. I'll miss Larry for being a better correspondent than I'll ever be and for forgiving me for that with his friendship.

Dad, I love you and always will, no matter how many photos you take in one sitting. We have had several fond memories together and I will be deeply saddened you will not be here to experience them with me. Although, you will always be in spirit, wherever I go and throughout my walk of life. I hope you follow me throughout. I would not be the man I am today without you standing by me...6 feet 4 inches high. I love you very much. Always missed. Never forgotten.

Larry, You always surprised me; your energy, intellect, generosity,... and now your parting. It seems you were just there. I can hear your voice in my mind's ear. So fondly remembered.
