God Bless Larry in Heaven where he is free from pain. We are glad our daughters got to visit with him at MD Anderson and got to see his strong faith. We miss you and pray for his family.

The year 2001 was a great and blessed year for both Tia and I for that was the year we both meet our husbands and at the same place to boot. Tia introduced me to my Love and I was there for her to meet hers. The 4 of us have been thick as thieves, so to speak. We have enjoyed times with Larry playing his guitar while Tia and I sang along plus Larry would let our kids make up different lyrics and we would all laugh at there silliness. We have gone out to dinner at El Chappareal, Larry's favorite place. Lee and I helped them move while Larry was out of the country working. Tore down the playhouse he took hours to build for Kalea as a child. There for Tia when she was lonely missing her husband so much. Talking hours on how we could be better parents for our children and how we could possibly deal with our teenage daughters. Took walks on nearby trails while face timing Larry as we did. He the whole time worried that we didnt take any mace for our protection. Lee and I will truly miss you that beared grizzly adam man. Thank you for all your guidance when it was asked for and especially for when it was not. Love you but will never forget you. Karen and Lee.

So sorry to hear this terrible news. I only knew Larry as a musician, and what a gift he had. Prayers for peace and comfort.

ia, I know you lost not only your husband but also part of your life is gone. Now words can explain what a friend Tom and I lost. Larry was an example of a Christian I have ever known in my life. Larry knew God and showed his faith through his actions of love, care, kindness, humbleness, soft words, teachings, and respect. Larry touched many people's hearts and helped them to get closer to God. When we were in Madagascar, Larry helped me very much spiritually he made sure that I did not miss church every Sunday he picked me on his way to church and dropped me home. When you shared about his sickness I hoped for a miracle. As he continued the fight of his struggle, I had only one wish; to visit with you all and tell him what an example of a Christian he is and how I was very happy to have met you both. Unfortunately, God's will was done and Larry did not wait for me to see him one more time and let him know how much I apricated his kindness. I am very sad that I did not get to see him but I am very sure God accepted him in his Kingdom. May he rest in peace and the good Lord continue to give you strength through these dark days of your life.

Tia, I remember when you and Larry met. I knew he was special to you right away. It's been such a blessing to see the joy and fulfillment he has brought to your and Kalea's life. He is alive and his life, love, and legacy lives on in you and your family. I pray for God's comfort and peace that surpasses all understanding for you and your family until you see him again.

My wife & I never had the opportunity to meet Larry but we have known his wife, Tia, since her high school days. We have, however, followed his brave fight with cancer through our contact with Tia. We extend our condolences to Larry

Oh Tia, I have no perfect words to say. I remember how you and I sat at the table and talked about your ministry in Madagascar. I am praying for you my sister and I am extra praying for your daughter.
