Larry D. Addington CLEVELAND, Va. Larry D. Addington, 54, died Thursday, April 15, 2010, in Johnson City Medical Center, Johnson City, Tenn. He was born in Wise County, Va. He was a lifetime member of the Cleveland Life Saving Crew. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Fern Addington; one sister, JoAnne Bennett; and one brother-in-law, Larry Bennett. He is survived by one daughter, Melody Renee Addington of Johnson City; one son, Bradley Alan Addington of Virginia Beach, Va.; his father and mother, Leo and June Addington; one sister, Nancy O'Quinn; three brothers, James Addington, Mack Addington, and Denny Addington; three brothers-in-law, Raymond Skeens, Oscar Skeens, and David Skeens; eight sisters-in-law, Betty Grizzle, Dorothy Collins, Rosie Lee Hall, Marie Skeens, Ruby Lawson, Pearl Ratcliffe, Gay Gross, and Bonnie Overbey; one grandson, Milo Stacy; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Larry D. Addington will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2010, in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, with Rev. Danny W. Altizer officiating. Interment will follow in the Skeens Cemetery, Carbo, Via. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2010, in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood.
