Larry Ayers Obituary
Larry was a loving husband to Carolyn Ayers for 57 years. He is survived by his daughters Bridget (Eric) Matzinger of Bargersville, Indiana, and Samantha Ayers of Dewey, Oklahoma. Larry was a cherished grandfather to Nick (Ashley) James of Hope, Indiana, Kayla (Blake) Goddard of Dallas, Texas, Jacob (Nicole) Matzinger of Plymouth, Indiana, Brianna (AJ) Davis of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Sophia and Carl Matzinger of Bargersville, Indiana, and Emma Lehman of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He was also blessed with four great-grandchildren. Larry is also survived by a brother Denny(Bonnie)Ayers, and sisters Patty(Benny)Bradley and Kathy Martinez. Larry is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Allen Lee Ayers, and his granddaughter Sabrina Ayers Louden.
Larry enjoyed various hobbies including hunting, basketball, baseball, and traveling. He was also an animal lover. Larry's memorial service will be held at St. John Catholic Church in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, on November 18, 2023. Interment will be at Pikes Peak National Cemetery,Colorado Springs, Colorado at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the ASPCA in Larry's memory.
