Larry Duane Baer

Baer, Larry Duane 58 of Flat Rock died Thursday, December 17th, 2015 at Pardee Memorial Hospital. He was born March 9th, 1957 in Wichita, Kansas. Larry spent his childhood in Dalton, MA and graduated from Wahconah Regional High School. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was of the Catholic Faith. He loved God and was a loving and happy person; he was a friend to everyone. He married his wife, Helena and moved to San Diego, CA where they raised their two sons, Jonathon, who followed his father's footsteps as an entrepreneur, and Timothy, who is currently serving in the Army Reserve. Following Larry's divorce, he moved to Wichita, and married Huong Ngo. He moved to Hendersonville, NC in 2013, finding the place he found so peaceful. He is survived by his parents, Duane Martin Baer and Mary Ann Cupicha Baer; sister, Suzanne M. Giangarra; two brothers, John C. Baer and Phillip M. Baer; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 22nd, 2015 in the Our Lady of the Angels Chapel of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Flowers are welcome, or donations in Larry's memory may be directed to a charity of one's choice.
