Larry L. Broberg

BROBERG, Larry L. (Age 70) Passed away on May 16, 2009 in Spokane, WA. Larry was born on June 2, 1938 in Norfolk, Nebraska. He was the son of Pete and Myrtle Broberg. His family moved near Auburn, WA when he was 12 and he graduated from Federal Way High School. He then joined the US Air Force for four years. Larry married Mavis Rosene in 1959 in Maine. After his discharge they made their home in Bellingham and he entered the grocery business. The family moved to Spokane in 1967 and Larry drove truck and later retired as the Transportation Superintendent of Super Valu in 1993. He then became a tour bus driver for 11 years. Larry loved flying, driving and being with his family. Larry is survived by his former wife, Mavis Broberg of Spokane, WA; son, Brooks Broberg and wife, Sharon of Bonney Lake, WA; daughter, LuRae Schlect and husband, Jeff of Spokane Valley, WA; six grandchildren; sister, Millicent Sandin and husband, Milton of Greeley, CO; brother, Lowell Broberg and wife, Dorothy of Puyallup, WA. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, May 24, 2009, at 2:00pm, at the First Evangelical Free Church, 4920 N. Assembly. HAZEN & JAEGER FUNERAL HOME 1306 N.
