Larry Dean Faulkingham

Larry Dean Faulkingham, 68, passed away November 22, 2023, in Milbridge, after a recent cancer diagnosis. He was born August 18, 1955, in Jonesport, the son of the late Orval Faulkingham Sr. and Gleness (Duguay) Faulkingham. As a child, Larry spent many hours "under the shore" playing on the pond rocks. Back then the future fisherman could be found rowing in his father's skiff. While he spent a few years of his youth in Connecticut, he loved his hometown and was eager to return "home" graduating from Jonesport High School. Larry was a down to earth hard working fisherman, once owning and operating his own boat the "Stacy Gleness". He loved his family dearly and enjoyed telling them so.

Larry is survived by his daughter Stacy Jajou and husband, Terry Hauck, of Arizona; a grandson, Dakota Jajou, of Arizona; his sister, Bonita Patterson, of Connecticut; sister-in-law, Trudy Faulkingham, of Connecticut; along with several generations of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including Stephen Geel that was always there to lend a hand. He is also survived by his cat, Mosie. He was predeceased by his parents; Orval Sr. and Gleness; and brothers, Orval Jr. and Darrell.

A graveside service will take place in the late Spring at Greenwood Cemetery in Jonesport. Details to follow.
