I worked at the museum for many years, and I was allways happy to see him. Like a big bowl of sunshine and happiness. It turned out that Larry knew my chess partner, Gene Clay. He told me several stories about my good friend, and I will be forever grateful.

Sorry to hear Larry passed, I grew up with his sons and he was always in a good mood and working on a something antique. I remember thinking how cool he was and all the cool things he had around the house and sitting with him at the fair. He always said hi and had a friendly smile to make you feel like family. He'll be sadly missed! My sincere condolences to Joyce, Tim, JJ and Michael.
