I am so sorry to hear about the death of Larry. We had a great time in high school especially in our geometry class. He was always fun and had a great sense of humor. May God bless him and may he rest in peace.

As a child (I'm 47 now), one of my favoritr things to do was to go withy my dad to pick up a pizza at Kraus'. If I was lucky, Larry would be working. My dad would let me pay and he'd do a sleight of hand trick when he give you your change back. I LOVED going there and Larry was a fantastic guy. He is a legend in Massillon and will be truly missed.

I went to Jr. High and high school with Larry, so yes we were friends. And of course always had Kraus's pizza while living in Massillon. I am sorry for your loss. My sympathy to your family.

I enjoyed working with and for Larry. What a sense of humor and balance. Good business mind. Since moving to Texas I have been on a quest to find a pizza close to Kraus Pizza. No luck. Best thoughts to Ginger and Family. David Simiele, retired attorney, Georgetown, Tx

My deepest sympathy to all the family survivors. I knew Larry well, and lived across the street from the original 'shop' on Amherst in the late 60's. He made THE BEST pizza in Stark County.

Our deepest sympathy to all of the family. Ken and I grew up with Kraus's store and later on with Kraus's pizza. Larry and Ginger were special friends. Even in Fl, we always tried to find a pizza comparable to Kraus's; none could compare. May he rest in peace. Our prayers are with you at this difficult time. Ken and Marsha (Phallen) Braun

Candace and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I grew up on 11th Streen in Massillon. I remember snowy days and your dad would drive with us on an intertube attached to the snowmobile out. Your house was the coolest and your dad's old gas pump....Great childhood memories. He left an lasting impression on everyone he met. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Growing up with Candice, Mr Kraus was like a second dad. He laughed with our childhood silliness and employed me at the pizza shop one Summer too! Blessed be Mr. Kraus xo

I loved Larry, when he ran his store that was the only place we would get pizza, My Aunt and Uncle were Kraus's fist franchise owners on the west side of Massillon, I was 8 or 9 at the time and learned how to make Kraus's famous pizza, it was then and still is my favorite to this day, many memories of walking into Larry's store always to be greeted with a big smile and a hardy "Hello Robart just a couple more times around", Larry made a simple task like picking up a pizza a fun 5 or 10 minute part of the day, we always teased that Larry's pizzas were the best because his sweat contained Stroh's beer, I have missed Larry ever since he retired and think about him every time I open that old screen door to pick up my pie, R.I.P. Larry Thanks for the memories!!!

My thoughts and prayers are with Larry's family at this difficult time. I have many fond memories of Larry , growing up not far from Amherst . Of course it's no secret that Larry made the best pizza and Ginger made the best macaroni salad! Larry was a true gentleman , very dedicated to hard work , rare and remarkable person . May his memory be eternal .

Larry was always a hard worker. Made the best pizza. But , took the time to really talk to you. Every Friday was pizza nt. Nothing like it. It was a big part of what made coming home really enjoyable. He even wrapped up pizza and I shipped it to my Brothers when they worked in Vegas. May you all rest assure that he is in a better place. You have our deepest sympathy. Larry was special. RIP .
