My condolences go out to the Krout family in this time of profound lose. I had the privilege of playing high school basketball with Larry as he was the point guard on our team. Larry never had a bad thing to say about anyone, was always a gentleman, and my most fond high school memories and successes included Larry. We are stunned to learn about Larry and so very sad and sorry. So many memories of teasing and laughing with the family when younger. He adored his own family I can only imagine what kind of husband and father he was and will again be in the eternities. My first memory of Larry is meeting out in the foyer at church--each with our daughters. He was pushing Elyse in an umbrella stroller, roaming the halls and I thought to myself "why not?!?" And soon followed suit. :)
He always had the nicest smile on his face and took great pride in his family and their many talents.
The world has lost an amazing man, and I'm sad for those people who didn't have a chance to meet him.
You are missed already, Larry, and will continue to be.

Never, ever did I see Larry at church meetings or events or even sports activities where he did not greet others warmly and so friendly. A true disciple of Christ is evidenced in the way they treat others. The world needs many more men and true disciples like Larry Krout. He is still here, loving you and concerned about you, just hidden from view. You are in my prayers and those of so many others.

Praying for comfort at this difficult time. I worked with Larry at ProActive and know how much he cared for others. He loved to tell stories about his childrens sporting events. My condolences to his family.

Words cannot express the gratitude that I feel toward's Larry and his sweet family. He gave me hope, acceptance and friendship. He helped restore my love for the Gospel and reminded me that I am a daughter of God. For that, I will eternally be grateful.
